silence this!!!
that's all-anal (retentive) verb-i-fied action. you post a lot more on your blog than i do, and about relatively more interesting things. therefore, i will add you to my links, when i bother to get around to doing anything on my blog, which may be a while.
it's not...anal....it's lovely.
i think if we all turned around and replaced "i will silence you" with "i will turn you into silence", and the like... we would all feel a little bit more powerful. in our heart of hearts. where it counts.
or maybe it a bit anal.
anyhow...
i like "I will turn you into silence" much better. it sounds very mysterious.
